Agenda
10:00 Welcome and introduction
10:10 What do we want to find out in CHESS
by Amy van Grieken (Erasmus MC)
We explain in plain words what we want to learn about common spaces, and how we collect information. Then it is your turn. Via digital post-its, you share what inspires you and any questions you have.
10:30 Meet the digital neighbourhood
by Daniele Vilone (ISTC)
During CHESS we will build a computer model, where agents behave like real persons. What can such a model teach us, and what are the limitations? We show some examples, and this will spark a fun discussion.
10:50 Walk in someone else's shoes (exercise)
In small groups, you follow one person on a visit to a park. It could be an older woman on a hot summer day, a teenager during the exam period, or a parent with an autistic child. What helps them? What stops them? And what are we overlooking?
11:10 Wrap-up
We tell you what we will do with your ideas and how you can stay involved.
